Security Features Available for Custom Play Money

Your use of Custom Play Money may require security features to prevent the unauthorized duplication of your bills. The simplest form of protection would be to upgrade to have your bills printed to security paper. Others choose to have every bill in their order embossed, leaving a unique physical impression in every bill. Lastly, manually tracking serial numbers or bar coding the serial numbers helps you track where your bills have been.

Security Paper

When documents, reproduced on Kan't Kopy Paper, are copied a "VOID" pattern appears on the copies. This internationally-patented process uses special printing technique to create the pattern on both black & white and color photocopies of the original document. Scans of the original also appear "VOID".

Security features include:

• Pantograph (Hidden Message) − When unauthorized persons try to copy or scan your original, a “Void”, “Rx Invalid” or “Unauthorized Copy” hidden message, built into the paper, appears on the copy, making the copy useless.
• Color Match − The original colors of Kan?t Kopy® papers cannot be reproduced with any type of copying process.
• Kan?t Kopy® Watermark − An artificial watermark is manufactured onto the paper.
• Guard against erasing/modifying
• 99% guarantee against newest technologies.

Embossing

Our "Play Money Seal of Authenticity" can be physically stamped into every bill in your order*. Except for the most secure applications, this method has served our customers well.

The embossment protects your bills in two ways. First, the counterfit would have to copy your bills without the embossment showing through. Then they would have to physically reproduce the embossment pattern, which is a cost prohibitive task.

* Embossing does not work for card stock, and not recommended for Vellum papers.

Serial Numbers/Bar Codes

You can choose to have Serial Numbers printed on every bill, with several algoritms available for the generation of the sequence of the individual Serial Numbers. We offer the abaility to download a file (CSV,XML) of these serial numbers. You can then cross reference the bills when they are returned to you to verify there is only one copy of this serial number. To help automate this method we offer Bar coding the serial number on each bill.
